You ever feel like you're watching your life rather than living it?

Jared is a deeply depressed, self conscious, and suicidal young man struggling to cope with the recent loss of his mother. As he drifts through his days, uncertain how much longer he can keep going, his old friend Sarah returns to town for Christmas. When their mutual friend Samuel invites him to a Christmas party, Jared is forced to hide his pain behind a fake smile, pretending everything is fine while quietly falling apart.
